We are searching for women singers in the Rio Grande Valley area. Women of all ages who enjoy singing are
invited to attend the Chorus’ weekly rehearsal Monday evenings from 7:00 to 10:00pm at St Mark United Methodist
Church on 301 W. Pecan, McAllen, TX.
All women are invited to attend any Monday night. Certain requirements need to be met to become a member.
The Magic Valley Chorus is one of hundreds of Sweet Adelines International, Inc. choruses that make up this
worldwide organization of women who sing four-part barbershop harmony.
Musical knowledge is not necessary to join. Many members don’t read music. Voice training and music education
are valuable components of members' benefits. Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal
training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of Sweet Adelines International directors and leaders.
We perform regularly throughout the community, offering our talent for entertainment at civic events and charitable
functions, in addition to promoting harmony and friendship among women and holding an annual show open to the
public.
